Here to guide you through the expanding universe of computer science.
During this virtual interactive workshop for the Spring ISD community, we'll explore grade-specific coding activities for grades K-12! In one-hour, future coders will learn the basics of JavaScript or HTML!
Instruction will be delivered in 3 different break-out rooms:
1) Room #1: For grades K-2 room where kids will learn coding concepts through unplugged activities and drag and drop scenes on their computer.
2) Room #2: For grades 3 -5 where kids will learn the basics of HTML and JavaScript through block-based to text-based coding activities.
3) Room #3: For grades 6-12 room where kids will learn the basics of HTML and build out their own websites.
This event is for the community! Families are welcome to attend and encouraged to explore coding together. We'll see you there!
