A license provides student access to Skill Struck’s web-based coding platform. They will enjoy our engaging, state-standards-aligned curriculum, a full text editor, auto-graded support, and the ability to create and save a portfolio of projects. Students also have the ability to complete fun challenges and customize their own digital avatar.

Yes! Skill Struck can be used as the primary curriculum for a class. The K-12 lesson plans contain approximately 55-minute lessons along with engaging activities.
Yes! There are several ways for teachers and administrators to track student progress. Pre-unit, mid-unit, and post-unit assessments provide a great representation of progress made by each student. See more on assessments and efficacy in our report here. Teachers and administrators have the ability to view individual student progress in completing quizzes, lesson checkpoints, and challenges, as well as all student coding files. Teachers can track information for all students, for a certain class, or for individual students and see class averages.
Skill Struck works on any device with an internet connection. It works on tablets as long as the tablet has a modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox) that is up to date. To effectively learn to code and program, it is recommended that students use a device with access to a keyboard.
Yes! Skill Struck integrates with common LMS; Canvas, ClassLink, Google Classroom, Schoolology, Clever.
