Grades K-2: Introduction to AI

Young students explore how machines “sense” the world and how they differ from humans. They learn
what makes something intelligent and get a first look at how AI systems make decisions.

Grades 3-5: Foundations of AI

Students investigate how computers see, hear, and make decisions, and they train simple models using labeled data. Through hands-on activities, students also explore how AI handles ambiguity of language and context to better understand the decision-making process. The course encourages critical thinking about bias and how AI affects their world.

Grades 6-8: Exploration of AI

Middle schoolers explore how AI systems learn, use data, and make predictions, with hands-on
experiences in logic, perception, and neural networks. They also examine real-world applications and
ethical implications.

Grades 9-12: Applications of AI

High school students explore artificial intelligence through hands-on projects and learn how it’s changing industries like healthcare and entertainment. They build practical skills in machine learning, data analysis, and understanding the ethics behind AI.

If a friend has never coded before, I would tell them that Skill Struck is a very easy and fun way to begin learning. I would also tell them that Skill Struck has challenges that are a fun way of testing our own ability to problem solve.
