Course Summary

Students practice the beginning HTML lessons which are integrated with fifth grade ELA, Science and Math concepts.

Course Outline

    1. Headers and Earth's Place in the Universe This lesson will teach you how to use Headers to show hierarchy and style in your web pages as we also study Earth and its place in the universe.
    2. Text Colors and Organisms Learn how to change the color of your text and also learn about living organisms.
    3. Paragraphs and Ecosystems Paragraph tags are one of the most common tags used in HTML. Follow this lesson closely and also learn about the ecosystem.
    4. Fonts and Gravity Learn about font families and sizes in this lesson. There are many different combinations, so have fun with it! We will also be studying gravity.
    5. Images and Matter Images are very useful and common in HTML. Learn how to use them in this lesson as you also study matter.
    6. Science Report Welcome to your Science Report! Create a website describing ways some communities are protecting the Earth. The requirements for your website are listed in the challenge section.

    1. Sequencing in Programming and Math Learn about sequencing in programming and math!
